2 Changes Made to UCF's Depth Chart
Coach Malzahn Made 2 Noticeable Changes to the Knights Depth Chart Prior to the SMU Game
UCF released its Week 6 depth chart and there were 2 big changes.
Coach Gus Malzahn, which has left the two-deep unchanged through 4 games so far, decided to make some changes on the defensive side of the ball before UCF takes on SMU in their conference opener tonight.
DB Dyllon Lester and LB Branden Jennings no longer featured on the two deep.
Lester, a redshirt senior, played in all 4 games so far, compiling 3 tackles. He was previously listed as the backup to Divaad Wilson.
Now, the Knights are listing freshman Demari Henderson as Wilson’s backup.
Jennings, the transfer from Maryland/Kansas State, was previously listed as the backup LB to Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste.
Freshman Kam Moore has replaced Jennings on the depth chart prior to tonight’s game. Jennings had compiled just 2 tackles so far.
