UCF Football Rumored Coaching Additions

Scott Frost is Adding Some Former Knights to His Staff in 2025

UCF has officially finalized its coaching staff for 2025, with the team posting on Instagram all 11 assistant coaches who have been hired by Scott Frost.

A quick recap of who Frost hired:

Offense:

• OC: Steve Cooper

• Associate HC/WR Coach: Sean Beckton Sr.

• OL: Shawn Clark

• QB: McKenzie Milton

• RB: Jimmy Beal

Defense:

• DC: Alex Grinch

• Edge/Defensive Run Game Coordinator: Mike Dawson

• DT: Kenny Martin

• DB: Brandon Harris

• LB: Mike D’Onofrio

Special Teams:

• ST Coordinator: Pete Alamar

Strength and Conditioning:

• Director of Strength & Conditioning: Zach Duval

Overall, it looks to be a very competent staff with Frost bringing in a mix of former coaches who were on his Nebraska and UCF staffs, up and coming coaches and complete new blood that weren’t previously affiliated with Frost.

In addition to the main staff, there are a number of support staff and other assistants that aren’t considered “on field coaches” like the position coaches above.

The exciting part is that a lot of these rumored hires are former UCF players with Frost opting to “bring the band back together” from the Knights glory days.
