Update on John Rhys Plumlee's Injury
UCF's Starting QB Sustained a Leg Injury in the Win over Boise State
UCF starting quarterback John Rhys Plumlee suffered a leg injury late in the game against Boise State this past weekend.
He got tackled and his leg got stuck under him and bent in an awkward way.
Fortunately, the injury isn’t as serious as it looks. Coach Gus Malzahn stated today that JRP is only expected to miss a 3-4 weeks and his leg won’t require surgery. That is good news for UCF.
In his place, usf transfer Timmy McClain will take over as QB1.
